The good bacteria in plain yogurt, also known as Lactobacillus Acidophilus, helps battle yeast and can be ingested or applied externally. BUT, be sure you buy plain, unsweetened yogurt. Since sugar is essentially yeast-food, this is crucial. If you were to use sweetened yogurt, you could actually make the infection worse. In general, yogurt is a great thing to eat before meals because it provides "good bacteria" for your stomach to aid in digestion as well as being good for fighting Candidiasis.

Water (Mother Nature’s soft drink!)

Face it, we don’t drink enough water nowadays. Our days usually consist of downing highly sweetened soft drinks and energy drinks. Doctors recommend drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. Obviously, you tend to go to the bathroom more when drinking more, and this helps combat yeast infections by reducing the massive amount of sugar you take in when you consume sugary drinks. It also helps by keeping your system flushed and clean.
